Congrats to 45-49 Master’s Athlete Jerry Hill who won his division at the CrossFit Games. For those of you who came to regionals. He was hanging out with us all weekend by our tent (the old, in better shape than guy you know, dude with the chops) and is Sara Hill-Mass’s brother.

Be sure to tune in for the second day for individuals and teams, today. Coverage begins at noon, eastern time.

WOD

Every minute, on the minute…
Back Squat
*Set 1 – 40% x 1 rep
*Set 2 – 50% x 1 rep
*Set 3 – 60% x 1 rep
*Set 4 – 70% x 1 rep
*Set 5 – 80% x 1 rep

and then….

Every 2 minutes…
*Set 6 – 85% x 1 rep
*Set 7 – 90% x 1 rep
*Set 8 – 95% x 1 rep
*Set 9 – 95+% x 1 rep
*Set 10 – 101+% x 1 rep

-then-
Complete as many rounds as possible in 6 minutes:
10 Burpee Box Jump-Overs (24″/20″)
15 Deadlifts (225/155 lbs)
20 Pull-Ups
25 Wall Ball Shots (20/14 lbs)
30 Double-Unders
Rest 4 minutes, and then repeat one time

Athlete of the Month

One of our best success stories to date. Amanda had made huge strides as an athlete. She is doing things she never thought possible and she deserves every bit of the success she is seeing. Amanda has the help of her newly slim and trim boyfriend to keep her working hard and eating paleo, oh yeah and Justin too! She stays late after class and works on her weaknesses. Amanda show up to class with a smile on her face and is always a pleasure to coach.
